Since the installer contains such an old version of Adobe Reader (which I checked by downloading and unpacking the installer), and based on the filehippo pages, I'd say it's completely unauthorised, which IMO would be both a clear breach of Adobe's intellectual property, and is dangerous to unskilled users. Somewhere on that page it's also referred to as 'Adobe Reader Lite'. and it's the same on the program page on : Looking at search results for Adobe Reader at, you can see that the only thing distinguishing it from the legit fully-Adobe product is the author. It's by someone called 'Shark007', and I'm assuming it's completely unauthorised by Adobe, since it's a very old v9.0 (not even 9.5), with installer and who knows what else added by 'Shark007'.
